Susan Wraith

DIRECTOR

Susan is a Chartered Town Planner with over 40 years experience of working within a town planning environment.  She founded the company of 4 Planning Delivery Limited in 2013 and now works directly with Local Authority clients.    

Much of Susan’s earlier career was spent in Local Government where she was a case officer before progressing into management.  She held the position of Head of Planning at Leeds City Council between 2002-2008 and Development Control Manager at Nottingham City Council 1998-2002.  Susan has extensive experience in dealing with a full range of planning casework including major commercial and residential schemes, complex enforcement casework and dealing with all types of appeals including by appearing as an expert planning witness in major Public Inquiries and in presenting the Council’s case at Hearings as well as in written representations appeals.

Susan worked for several years as a Planning Inspector specialising in enforcement and Lawful Development Certificate casework.  She now runs training courses and seminars on a range of development management topics.  She also provides consultancy support in service reviews, business process re-engineering and the improvement of planning services. 

Susan holds a Diploma with Distinction in Urban and Regional Planning and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.  She also holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. 

Rebecca Wraith

Planning and Business Associate

Rebecca holds a BA (Hons) degree in Geography and Media Studies.  She has over 20 years public and private sector work experience in which she has developed a broad range of skills and knowledge in planning, sustainability, waste management, renewable energy and business processes. 

Her experience has included providing technical and administrative support to planning services, preparation of assessments to support planning applications, business administration, customer services, data input, analysing and interpreting data, monitoring, report writing, promotion and marketing, project management, event management, running and delivering training courses, cross sector working (including working with schools, communities, businesses, external organisations and the general public) and delivering presentations.

Much of Rebecca’s experience is in working front of house and in front line services.  She holds a City and Guilds Vocational Qualification in Customer Services and she is a qualified instructor.  She is also trained in Local Plans Programme Officer work.
